16 Dec. 2016 – The Lebanese Futsal Under 20 national team will play two friendly games this month, on the 24th & 27th in order to get ready for the Asian qualifications.
Both games will be against Iraq and the competition is going to take place in Beirut. The team members are preparing for the games that will take place in Beirut and Mina, despite their busy schedules with their respective teams.
The National team is training twice a week and the training sessions are scheduled in a way that everyone can attend. The main focus of the coach, Farid Njeim, is on the tactics without neglecting the physical aspect of training.
On the other hand, coach Boris Sezmar decided to select players among the 26 to play both games. The technical director of the team, Hussein Deeb, confirmed that the doors will be open to any player if he proves himself on the field of play, especially after the launching of the U18 championship.
Many players have been called up to the team, and here are their names: Ahmad Khaled, Victor Hanna, Homamad Kays, Mostafa Jradi, Hazma Assaf, Hazma Assaf, Hassan Alame, Hussein El Baba, Ramzi Doumani, Ali Taha, Micher Saber, Mohamad Hamoud, Steve Koukezian, Serge Kouyoumjian, Jamal Selwan, Georgio Khoury, Joseph Sebaaly, Mohamad Daher, Mohamad Kanso, Jawad Nasreldine, Mher Sormanian, Antoine Khadij, Ali Moussa, Ahmad Zein, Rami Saade, Hassan Haydoos and Kassem Rida.
