20 Jan. 2017 – The Lebanese Badminton Federation organised the Lebanese Badminton Championship for the year 2016. This event was for the players born between 1997 and 2005 +.
It was held in the courts of USJ ESIB (Mansourieh) and more than 185 players participated. The athletes came from Mont La Salle, Hoops Beirut, Hoops Metn, Moujammaa’ Al Tahrir, Squadra, Kasir, Chamran, as well as Jamhour.
After a tough battle between the players, the results were the following:

The vice president of the federation along with the general secretary and a federation member as well as top notch referees supervised the championship. At the end of the tournament, the president of the federation congratulated the winners and thanked the players for their participation and the parents for their support. He also thanked the administration of the university for hosting the championship.
Finally, trophies and medals were awarded to the winners, and a certificate of participation to all participants.
