21 Jan. 2017 – After grabbing silver at the ITF Asia 14 & Under Development Championship – D2 in the singles category, Maria Breidy teamed up with Jana Khatib from Jordan for the doubles.
This event is taking place in Bangkok – Thailand. Maria had previously succeeded in making it to the Division 1 after winning the silver medal in the Division 2. However, she did not only shine in the singles competition, she also stole the spotlight with her teammate, Jana Khatib, in the doubles event. In fact, Jana and Maria won the final against the Mongolian team Chogsmochav-Ganbataar.
Maria also finished in position 5 in the singles in the second week, after defeating Bista from Nepal. The young athlete will be heading to India at the end of the month in order to compete in the Division 1.
