02 Feb. 2017 – Despite a very slow start from Lebanon against Syria, and in the absence of crucial starters such as Fadi El Khatib & Wael Arakji, the Lebanese basketball NT managed to finally win 78-64.

Today’s victory makes it 5 from 5 for the Cedars team, who finished the 2017 WABA Championship with a perfect record.
Elie Rustom was no doubt the best player on our team today, hustling on both ends to prove that he’s one of the key players. The rotation was pretty large from coach Joe, who gave a chance to the largest number of players possible, excluding Arakji & Khatib.
Big congratulations to the Lebanese team, we showed every West Asian team that we are back. Now it’s time to start preparing for ASIA!
