27 Feb.2017- In their quest to qualify to the Worl Cup held in the Bahamas next April, our Lebanese Beach Soccer National Team has set sailed to Malaysia to compete in this year’s qualifiers.
We are competing in the 3rd group and will face Uzbekistan, Thailand, and Oman on the 6th,7th and 8th of March accordingly.
To be able to qualify to the semis, we must either rank first in our group or achieve 2nd best in all three groups. Then, the best 3 National teams go straight to the Bahamas.
Our preparations start with a 4-day training camp followed by a friendly game against Bahrain.
This delegation is headed by Brazilian coach Alex Braga, General Manager Khaled Bourjawi, Fitness coach Hassan Izz El Din, Doctor Youssef Zein El Din, and Mr. Joseph Kanaan.
As for the selected players, they are: Mohammad Chouker, Hussein Salame, Mohammad Matar, Mahmoud Matar, Mohammad Sleiman, Moustafa El Zein, Ahmad Jradi, Haitham Fatal, Mohammad Merhi, Hussein Abdallah, Hussein Saleh, Sameh Jalal.
