08 Mar. 2017 – The second win in two games for Lebanon at the 2017 AFC Beach Soccer Championship came against Oman, in one of the most exciting games so far at the tournament.
Despite falling behind in the first half, the Lebanese team got back in the 2nd and 3rd to score 4 goals and grab a narrow 4-3 win. This victory gave Lebanon the lead in Group B with 6 points, ahead of Oman who were left with 3.
The goals were scored by Moustafa El Zein (16′), Mohamad Merhi (28′,36′) and Ahmed Ghrada (36′).
