29 Mar. 2017 – Yasmeen Ghaoui, a 16 year old Lebanese tennis player, shone at the OP BEOGRAD Women’s tournament.
After grabbing the silver medal in the 18U OTK Belgrade, Yasmeen managed to win the tournament, grabbing 4 victories over he opponents. First off, she defeated Nastaza Luzajic 2 sets to none (6-0, 6-1). In her second game, she overcame Stefana Topo (6-1, 6-3) thus advancing to the semi final against Jovana Samoceta. She pulled off a great performance winning this game (7-5, 7-6). After 3 incredibly tough games, Yasmeen reached the finals and grabbed the gold medal against Yelena Kovac. She won her game 6-7, 6-2 and 6-3.
