12 Apr. 2017 – After parting ways with injured Godfrey, Sagesse have finalized a deal with the Dutch professional basketball player, Thomas Van Der Mars.
Van Der Mars, born in November 1990, is 25 and stands at 208cm. In college, from 2011 till 2015, he played with Portland.
In August 2015, Van der Mars signed with Kavala B.C in the Greek Basketball League. In January 2016, he left the team and signed with Avis Rapla of the Estonian KML.
Sagesse are getting ready to fight one of their hardest battles yet, as they will face Riyadi in the Final 8. Despite the yellow team being better on papers, could Sagesse create a surprise and overcome their opponents thanks to the efforts of their new import?
