12 Apr. 2017 – Mike Efevberha, who has been a key player with Sagesse this season, has announced that he will be leaving the club due to personal issues.
The shooting guard who has an average of 23.4 points per game along with 7.06 rebounds, 4.93 assists and 1.46 steals leaves the club at a very crucial time. In fact, the Green Castle are preparing to face Riyadi Beirut in the playoffs and it won’t be a walk in the park for Sagesse, especially without Mike. His departure leaves a whole in the team since finding a replacement will be very tough for Coach Fouad. It is a tough blow that couldn’t have happened at a worse time.
On a side note, Coach Fouad asked the fans to thank the player for his efforts and understand him.
