30 Apr. 2017 – USEK sports team have gone big this year with 5 of their sports teams reaching the finals of the 5 biggest competitions in the Unileague.
In fact, both the men’s and women’s futsal teams made it to the final of the futsal league against USJ. The basketball teams were also impressive, as both their teams made it to the finals too. Finally, the men’s volleyball team reached the finals in their competition.
In their long and tough journey, USEK’s sports teams came out victorious in 4 out of 5 competitions. They won the Men’s volleyball title defeating NDU 2-0. They grabbed the gold in the Women Basketball League defeating LAU Beirut by 20 points. As for the men’s team they had to settle for silver despite having showed great character. Finally the women’s futsal team breezed past USJ to take the 6-1 win and clinch the title in the process. The men’s futsal team did not disappoint either as they also won gold.
