03 May. 2017 – The Lebanese University held an internal tennis tournament on the occasion of the institution’s 66th anniversary.
Games took place at Rafic EL Hariri sports stadium in Hadath, and it was Hachem El Ali & Mayssa Ismael who emerged victorious.
El Ali defeated Kamil Yassine in the final 2-0 (6-2 6-3) with Elie Dib and Mohammad Salloum finishing third.
On the other hand, Ismael won her third title by beating Laura Fakih 9-2. Salwa Faour and Lilith Nalbandian finished third.
In other news, the 5th branch table tennis competition will kick off on Friday May 5th, while there will be a 400 meters race and mini football games on Saturday.
Moreover, there will be try outs prior to the swimming competition, and the dates for the boys are May 8th, 10 and 12 while for the girls it will be May 9th, 11 and 16.
