07 May. 2017 – The Lebanese basketball national team road to China will start on the 26th of November 2017. In 2019, the FIBA World Cup will take place in China and Lebanon has a big chance of making it there as Asia has been granted more spots.
With the new qualifiers format, the Cedars team will first face opponents that are not particulary strong, such as India, Jordan and Syria before moving on to the knockout stages.
