22 May. 2017 – South Toll table tennis club successfully defended the Lebanese championship title, as they won their 5th with a 3-0 win against Fadi Akdas.
First, it was Mohammad Hamieh who got South Toll a win with a 3-1 victory against Alfred Najm, before Daoud Cheaib defeated Rachid El Boubou 3-0. Finally, it was Ghaleb Fahs who won them the third match against Ralph Hamdar 3-2.
Secondly, in the ladies category, the title went to Nadwa Komatiya club for the third time in a row, as they defeated Homenetmen Beirut in the final.
Going into more details from this matchup, Marina Sahakian beat Lara Bachian 3-0, Malake Khoury defeated Noelle Kechichian 3-0 and Mariam Al Habch ended things with a 3-0 defeat of Mireille Boyajian.
