24 May. 2017 – The last couple of seasons were all about Ali Mezher at Hoops, as he was the star and core of the team. His talent cannot be denied and he surely deserves to be playing on a competing roster.
As of now, Ali Mezher is almost out of Hoops, and on his way to sign with Sagesse. The newly reborn club has a new sponsor that is willing to pay for a team worthy of winning a championship and therefore will look to Ali Mezher in order to have a capable Lebanese point guard.
Mezher averaged 17.9 points per game, 4.35 rebounds and 8.05 assists. Nevertheless, he will still help Hoops in their playoff game as they are looking to stay in division 1.
