20 Oct. 2015 – The Lebanese Shooting federation organized the third round of the Lebanese Championship in Trap (B). The tournament was held in Safra Club shooting field. 27 shooters took part in the championship with the presence of the president of the federation Pierre JALKH and the president of the technical committee Sassine ROUHANA.
Qualification round results: (the first 6 qualified)
- Ralph AARAJ: 66/75
- Wadih SAYEGH: 65/75
- Charles KISERWANI: 64/75
- Jiskar MERHI: 64/75
- Joseph HAYEK: 62/75
- Sami SAKR: 61/75
According to the International Shooting federation, the first six shooters with the highest points over 125 qualify to the semi-finals where they will have to target 15 disks with one shot only. In the Semi-finals, the first two will then compete for the gold and silver while the third and fourth will have to compete for one Bronze.
Semi-Finals Results:
- Ralph AARAJ: 15/15
- Jiskar MERHI: 13/15 (2/2)
- Charles KISERWANI: 13/15 (1/2)
- Sami SAKR: 12/15
In the finals, Ralph AARAJ and Jiskar MERHI both shot 15/15 disks and were separated by two additional disks where Ralph shot 2/2 and Jiskar shot 1/2 giving Ralph AARAJ a well-deserved win after leading both the qualifications and the semi-finals.
On the other hand, Sami SAKR shot 15/15 disks to come in third place while Charles KISERWANI scored 9/15 and finished fourth.
