03 Nov. 2015- Lebanon hardly defeated Malaysia 83-79 to secure the second place of the 2nd round’s group E behind Chinese Taipei (undefeated so far). Lebanon is expected to face Philippines or Korea in the quarterfinals!
The first quarter of the game ended in favor of our national team by 4 points 25-21. In the 2nd quarter the gap dramatically changed and Malaysia scored 18 points with only 6 points scored by our players. Our national team bounced back in the 3rd quarter and led the game by 2 points. The gap was extended to 4 points at the end of the game and Lebanon secured the win after a tough game!
