03 Nov. 2015 – The Lebanese Taekwondo Federation held a meeting at the Tony KHOURY’s Olympic Museum at the Lebanese Olympic Committee to ratify the administrative and financial statements of 2014.
22 out of 33 clubs attended this meeting meet the requirements including a new one in the second meeting that will be decided according to the principle of 1/3 + 1, which equals to 12 clubs.
The clubs that took part in this meeting are: Taadod, Achrafiye, Liwa’ Beirut, Freres Beit Merry, Taikon Al Mansouriye, Al Ajyal, Mont La Salle, Al Raya, Al Aahed, Annour Al Riyadi, Sacre Coeur, Jamhour, Chabab Al Riyadi Beirut, Notre Dame Hazmiye, Antranik, Golden Bay, Hoops, Kasayr Club, Chabibe al Riyadi Club, Al Naous Club, Martial Arts, Skowadra.
The president of the federation, Sophie ABI JOUADE, opened the session by welcoming all the attendance, wishing from all the clubs to keep investing in this sport saying that the federation will organize the official championships.
Georges ZEIDAN, the general secretary of the federation, read the statement of 2013 and it was approved by all the attendants. He continued reading the 2014 Statement which includes 36 pages about the activities of the federation related to the national competitions and the role of the clubs and again everyone approved it.
At the end of the meeting, Bassam OBEID, the treasurer of the federation, read the financial statement and was approved by everyone before discharging the governing body of 2014.
