09 Nov. 2015- Laetitia AOUN wins a gold medal in the 2015 Croatia Taekwondo Open after defeating her Serbian opponent in the final of the tournament!
Laetitia won 3 games before reaching the final, she managed to defeat 2 athletes from Croatia in the first two rounds and an opponent from Bulgaria in the semifinals!
“This medal is a great way to show that Laetitia can compete at the very top levels” – Ralph HARB (Laeticia’s coach) said about her achievement.
Michel SAMAHA was also participating in this tournament where he defeated a german athlete in the first round but unfortunately failed to pass the 2nd round after losing to an opponent from Senegal.
Noting that this is the second achievement for Laetitia this year after winning a silver medal in the Asian Taekwondo Championship in May 2015. We wish Laetitia more of success in her career!
