12 Nov. 2015 – The Lebanese Universities Federation has now finally an office! With the help of the minister of Sports Abdelmouttaleb HENNAOUI and the General Director Zed KHYEME, the office of the Federation will be held in Dora.
The federation announced the news at their first meeting for the upcoming season. The president of the federation Nasri LAHOUD first welcomed the attendance and added: “The federation was successful last year in overcoming the obstacles and uniting the members of the federation and getting on the right track. All the efforts we are making today will be noticed in the future.”
The office will be named after the passing first president of the federation Nasry Jamil LAHOUD who used to insist on having an office for this federation. An opening ceremony will be scheduled for the new office.
On the other hand, the federation discussed other important events during this meeting. They accepted the nomination of the general secretary Georges NADER and the member of the Federation Zeina MINA to the Arab University Federation. They also agreed on the participation of AUST in the Arab Women Football Championship that will be held in Jordan on 23rd of November.
Finally, the Lebanese University will be organizing two championships: in Bowling and in Cross Country running (5km and 10km). The calendar will be shared to everyone in few days.
