19 Nov. 2015 – In the Lebanese Futsal Championship, Tripoli Fayha’ was able to move to the 6th place in the overall ranking after defeating AUST in 5-0. The winning team has a great opportunity now to move to the 5th ranking and thus be part of the final 8.
The players entered the game with complete focus, and the coach Farid NJEIM was satisfied with the team’s performance because they applied what he has planned for in this particular game, which helped them defeat AUST.
Tripoli Fayha’ is improving a lot throughout the championship especially that it is a very young team that doesn’t have a great experience in futsal. The team did a great job and played a great offensive game despite firing its best player Mohamad SAFA in the beginning of the second half.
The captain of the team Omar YASSIN helped his team offensively to score the five goals. On the other hand, the goalkeeper Ziad TARCHIHI defended the goal that was threatened many times especially when SAFA left the game.
Rayan AL MASRAFI, Cesar KHADAH, Issa MEHREZ, Omar HALAB and Ahmad JABAR were the five scorers of the game.
From AUST side, the team’s performance has dropped and that is due to the absence of their two foreign players from Libiya and Hussam EL WAHICH. And in this particular game, the team had to play without their star Ali RMEITY who is suspended by the federation for four games.
The head coach of AUST, Ziad SAADE affirmed that the team will be back on track in the upcoming stage and fight for the quarter-finals.
