01 Dec. 2015 – The Lebanese Cycling season has finally come to end after a long and rich season. The Federation announced the 2015 top 10 list of cyclists.
Elias ABOU RACHID (Athletico Beirut) was able to stay at the top of the list in the Elite category with 93 points. He represented Lebanon this past season in many international competitions including the Asian Championship and the Rio 2016 Olympic Games trials!
On the other hand, Youssef MRAD (Salaata) was ranked first in the Juniors Category after having a great season, participating in the Arab Championship and collecting 114 points. We should mention that this is the first time that the federation set a ranking for the Juniors, which is a great motivation for the young cyclists!

- Zaher El Hajj (Athletico Beirut): 85 pts
- Kamal Chaaban (Salaata): 77 pts
- Abdallah El Er (Salaata): 67 pts
- Remond Hobeika (Athletico Beirut): 28 pts
- Kevork Altounian (Homentmen Beirut): 27 pts
- Youssef Nader (Homentmen Beirut): 22 pts
- Garo Kalachian (Homentmen Bourj Hammoud): 10 pts
- William Masaad (Aamal Bikfaya): 6 pts
- Tony Abdallah (Mount Sports)
Juniors Category:
- Youssef Mrad (Salaata): 114 pts
- Marc Chamiye (Athletico Beirut) and Makram Matta (Athletico Beirut):66 pts
- Roy Roukoz (Athletico Beirut): 59 pts
- Pegor Yaakoubian (Homentmen Aanjar): 44 pts
- Amsal Daou (Saalta): 26 pts
- Garin Arbakilian (Homentmen Aanjar): 20 pts
- Hagop Matoyan (Homentmen Aanjar): 10 pts
- Lucas Abou Jaoude (Athletico Beirut): 8 pts
- Rowad Abi Nader (Aamal Bikfaya): 4 pts
Moreover, the federation invited all the clubs to attend their meeting on Wednesday, December 15th, 2015, at 6:00 PM, in Agbalian sports Center in Mezher. The meeting will discuss the Financial and Administrative plan for 2015 and the activities plan for 2016 including championships and budgets.
