01 Aug. 2015 – Bank of Beirut is representing Lebanon at the 2015 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Club Championship and played today against Thai Son Nam FC from Vietnam at Nagshe Jahan Stadium in Iran.
The match ended in 3 – 3; in the first half the Vietnam team scored two goals while the Lebanese team scored only one. In the second half, Bank of Beirut scored two more goals and the Thai Son Nam FC scored one goal to finally end the game in a tie of 3 – 3.
The Lebanese Lineups:
- GK Hussein HAMADANI
- DF Ahmad KHEIR EL DINE – who scored one goal
- FW Ali TNEICH
- FW Rudolpho RONQUETTI D – who scored two goals
- FW Mehdi JAVID
Gilbert DIAB was the team manager and Dejan DEDOVIC the head coach.
The team is currently second in the Group D, they will face the Chinese team Shenzhen Nanling Tieland FC tomorrow at 12:00 Iran time.
If Bank of Beirut end up as a runner up of Group D, they will have to face the winner of Group C on the 4th of August at 14:30 – Iran time.
