15 Dec. 2015- Qnat defeated Chiah in the opening game of the 1st USJ Women’s Volleyball Tournament 3-1 (25-20, 20-25, 25-18 and 25-19).
The game was full of excitement, where Sana KARAM (Qnat player) highly performed to be chosen the player of the game and Mariam BACHIR was chosen the best player from Chiah Club.
The 2nd game of the tournament will be held today at 8:30 P.M where Club 1875 will face Chiah at the USJ-CIS Stadium, Achrafieh.
Please note that USJ is organizing this tournament from their belief that Lebanese women deserve to have a more extended calendar for the season where they can improve their skills and level of play (to extend the Lebanese Women Volleyball League calendar for several months instead of 1 month). USJ are using this slogan for the tournament “Volleyball is for Lebanese women too”. A great step by USJ Sports department! Keep up the good work.
