18 Jan. 2016- The Lebanese futsal national team defeated Iraq 2-1 in a friendly game. The game is a part of the national team preparations for the upcoming AFC Futsal Cup. The 2 teams will have a rematch tomorrow at 8:30 P.M in Al Sadd stadium.
The Lebanese national team coach Paco ARAUJO gave the opportunity to all the national players to participate in this game especially the young players and the substitutes in order to get the experience needed from this game.
Ahmad KHEIREDDINE scored the first goal of the game in the 4th minute, Hassan ZEITOUN scored the 2nd goal of the game only 3 minutes after the first goal. The opponent’s players couldn’t reduce the gap before the last minute of the game taking advantage of the Lebanese players press defending strategy.
Iraq is considered a tough team to beat, our national team preparation are going good so far!
