19 Jan. 2016 – The Lebanese handball national team has crashed out of the Asian championship from the group stage after 3 defeats. Indeed, the team’s first loss came against Bahrain, one of the toughest teams in the group. Final score was 41-18.
In their second game, the Lebanese players were facing Iran. This time, the match was much closer and Lebanon fell short of a victory, losing 31-26.
Today, our national team lost its third game in the group stage against Saudi Arabia, 32-13. Lebanon’s final 2 games in the championship are going to be against UAE on Thursday and China on Saturday. Let’s hope the Lebanese team will get the win in both games!
