24 Jan. 2016 – The Arab Volleyball Clubs Championship is going to take place in Tunis, from February 16th till February 29th, with 20 teams participating. The draw to determine the groups took place and all the teams were divided into 4 groups.
Al Zahra and Al Anwar, the teams who made it to the final of the Lebanese championship last year, are going to represent Lebanon at the competition.
Draw Results:
Group A: Army (Qatar), Samouha (Egypt), Ahli Tripoli (Libya), Al Seib (Oman), Najm Sahili (Tunis).
Group B: Ahly (Saudi Arabia), Sahar (Oman), Zamalek (Egypt), Anwar (Lebanon), Safaksi (Tunis).
Group C: Rayan (Qatar), Sanjal (Palestine), Zahra (Lebanon), Nasr (Bahrain), Wadi Moussa (Jordan).
Group D: South Gas (Iraq), Souaihily (Libya), Sadaka (Palestine), Chabab Al Hussein (Jordan), Ittihad (Saudi Arabia).
