29 Jan. 2016- Lebanon was represented by 9 athletes and 1 team in the 2016 IronMan 70.3 Dubai that was held today. The organizers reduced the distance of the swimming from 1.9 Km to 1.2 Km for pros and 600 meters for age groups and relays Due to weather conditions.
Here are the athletes results:
Ali TABBAL scored the best result among the Lebanese, he finished his race in 4:36:50 hours securing the 12th place in his division and the 142nd place overall.
Hassan ITANI was second best, he finished his race in 4:40:52 hours securing the 13th place in his division and the 161st place overall.
Olivier GEMAYEL who clocked 4:49:13 hours scored the 3rd best result. His rank is 37 in his division and 198 overall.
Mazen TURK is next with 5:08.08 hours. TURK secured the 39th position in his division and the 324th overall.
Jihad TAYARA managed to end the race in the 52nd position in his division and 362 overall clocking 5:12:55 hours.
Nizar FAKHOURY who clocked 5:18:23 hours grabbed the 88th position of his division and the 404th position overall.
Bertrand FATTAL is the last best among the race finishers, he finished the race in 5:23:51 hours being ranked 67th in his division and 440th overall.
Amer CHEBARO finished his race in 06:26:48 hours, placed 127th in his division ranking and 689 overall.
OmniAthletes team finished the race in 6:39:44 hours, placed 45 in their division ranking and 709 overall.
Unfortunately Dani AFIOUNI failed to finish the race.
