03 Feb. 2016 – The Lebanese women table tennis team of Nadweh Komatieh is currently in Sharjah, participating in the 2016 table tennis championship for arab clubs.
In this tournament, 10 clubs are competing for gold and the Lebanese club has started the its journey with a win. Indeed, Nadweh managed to defeat Orthodox from Jordan with a final score of 3-0.
The players representing Nadweh at the championship are: Maria Sahakian, Malake Khoury, Tvine Moumjoghlian, Dare Bedrossian and Hanem Jamaa while the secretary general of the club (Abbas Nasreddine) and the federation’s member Wissam Chiri have travelled with the players.
