05 Feb. 2016 – The Lebanese Army celebrated like every year the end of the sports season 2015. The Closing ceremony was held at the General and President Emile LAHOUD Stadium, on the fourth of February 2016, with the supported of the General Jean AHOUAJI represented by the General Georges AL HADD the director of the Sports section in the Army.
The Minister of Sports was represented by Mohamad OUAIDAT, and also representatives of the General Security, the Lebanese Olympic Committee and the Federations were also present.
General Georges AL HADD thanked, in the name of the General Jean AHOUAJI, the ministry of sports and its minister the General Abdelmoutaleb HENNAOUI, as well as the Lebanese Olympic Committee and its president Jean HAMMAM, the presidents of the Lebanese federations and Sports NGOs, the Referees, the coaches, the civillians, the solders, the press and finally the directors of the sports facilities and their cooperation in organizing the Championships.

At the end, General AL HADD thanked the soldiers for their efforts and congratulated them with their achievements and distriuted the awards, medals and trophies, for the Lebanese Army champions from the different kinds of sports. The award ceremony was followed by a cocktail.
