08 Feb. 2016 – Charles KARAM did it again! He ran faster than the record he broke two weeks ago. This time, he ran the 200 meters in 22.18 seconds indoors!
Charles is competing very often lately, and that’s how he is able to improve his times! He previously ran the distance in 22.39 seconds breaking the Lebanese indoor 200m record that was held by Ali HAZER (Champions) with 22.50 seconds, achieved on the 18th of February 2014 in Romania.
“Charles KARAM ads a new best performance in 500m Indoor“
Even with this great performance, Charles expected to run a SUB 22! “To be honest, I competed Friday nice at the Armory in NYC. Didn’t race till 9:30 PM, got back home at 1 AM to drove back to NYC racing at Staten Island on Saturday. I didn’t finish the 400 meters on Saturday because I was so tired I only ran the 200m out of annoyance of what happened,” said Charles.
“I will fo under 22 seconds next weekend at Boston when I’m fresh and with better competition!” Added KARAM.
We should note that Charles ran twice 22.57 before breaking the record for the first time. Usually, the performances achieved outdoor are better than the indoor ones, so we expect a great outdoor season for Charles as well!
We wish him all the best for hos upcoming races!
