11 Aug. 2015 – The Lebanese water engines federation organized the first round of the 2015 jet ski championship with 19 of Lebanon’s top jet ski riders participating. Jounieh bay was the event’s location, and the civil defense, red cross and coast guard were all present.
In the final round of the race, Elie Kanaan managed to snitch first place after a tough battle with Tony Angelil who ended up second while Aamer Itani came in third place.

At the, the federation’s president Edmond Chaghoury distributed the cups to the winners of the first round, while the 2nd round has been announced and will take place on August 30. The third one will be in September, on Sunday 13th.
