16 Feb. 2016 – The Lebanese Athletics delegation is heading tomorrow to Doha, Qatar, for the Asian Indoor Athletics Championship. Six athletes are representing Lebanon at this championship:
- Aziza SBEITY (CSJ): 60 metersMaha AL MOUALLEM
- Maha AL MOUALLEM (Inter-Lebanon): 60 meters
- Ramzi NAIM (Champions): 60 meters
- Ali HAZER (Champions): 60 meters Hurdles
- Nour HADID (Lebanese Army): 60 meters and 400 meters
- Krystel SANEH (Champville): 60 meters Hurdles and Long Jump
On the other hand, Roland SAADE, the president of the Lebanese Delegation already arrived in Qatar for the Asian Council meeting to discuss the development and budget of the Asian Federation. Roland, who is a member of the Asian federation, will also have meetings with Arab and Asian Delegation to improve the relationship with them and develop the sport in the region.
The championship will start on the 19th and will end on the 21st. Wassim HAWLI, a member of the Lebanese Athletics Federation will be the official representative of the Lebanese delegation with the president Roland SAADE.
