20 Feb. 2016 – The Lebanese junior fencing national team is going to participate in the Asian Championship, between February 21st and February 28th, in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain!
Great results are what the ambitious Lebanese team is waiting for, and here are the players who are going to represent our country: Antoine Oneissi, Arz Zahr El Dine, Antoine Choueiry, Amir Chams El Dine, Jad Ammar, Nai Salameh, Marie-Joe Abou Jaoude, Victoria Haikal and Dominique Tannous.
The team will be split into 2 groups each according to the players age, and the first part will head to Saudi Arabia headed by the federation president Ziad Choueiry and coach Mahmoud Ali Ahmad. The second part will go to Bahrain and will be headed by the vice president Souhail Saad and coach Bahij Charanek.
Dominique Tannous is Lebanon’s biggest hope for a medal, as she the title holder and ranked 4th internationally.
