25 Feb. 2016 – Jesus and Mary school secured 1st place in LES Basketball tournament with 9 straight wins versus zero losses! The team was able to defeat Louis Wegman once, LES twice, SHS twice, Apotres twice and BESGB twice to finally grab the gold medal!
The final game ended in 46-37. Georges CHOUCHANI scored 6 points, blocked 4 shots, collected 8 rebounds and did 2 steals! His teammate Kevin BADR, scored 11 points, 6 Rebounds, 3 assists, 2 block shots and 2 steals.
Charbel SAWMA scored only 2 points but collected 7 rebounds, did 3 block shots and 1 steal! Ray BALKA scored 8 points, did 5 assists and 3 steals. Finally, Anthony HONEIN scored 19 points, did 3 assists and 2 steals.
This amazing squad was able to deliver the best of them to finally earn the title!
