28 Mar.2017– You’re all used to seeing Fadi El Khatib racking up the numbers every game, you definitely remember Rony Fahed sinking vital threes to win his team the game or even have witnessed Elie Mchantaf doing his thing on court. Today we’re introducing the first of the Top 10 talents of the new generation that could carve new memories in the Basketball World.
Standing at 1.96 cm, born on July 22nd 1996, Aziz Abdel Massih is one of the most promising guards in the league. Tadamon El Zouk and LAU Jbeil are lucky to have him on their side this season. He began his basketball career at Brummana Div 3 with Coach Gilbert Saliba who saw Great potential in him. Saliba motivated him and boosted his self-confidence as the talented youngster was eager to learn and understand organized and professional basketball. His hard work and perseverance opened doors for him a year later in Central with Coach Gaspar Ishak.
Aziz’s year with Central was simply remarkable where he started the year with 0 playing time then blossomed to become one of the teams’ go-to scorers at a very young age. This caught the attention of Tadamon Zouk Club coached initially by Paul Caughter who saw Aziz’s upside. His favorite memory on the court was playing against Al Jeish in Division 2 where he completely erupted for 15 pts in the 4th quarter to help the team book a spot in the final 4.
Aziz is known for his athleticism and vertical jump which make him practically impossible for players of his age to guard him. His long arms and timing on defense give him an edge over any player. A versatile player that can be as efficient on both side of the floor, Aziz is improving his game day after day. His ability to drive the lane and absorb the contact is tremendous, while he continues to work on his shot as he can be as deadly from down town.
We wish the young star a great career which we know he can achieve.

28 Mar. 2017 – The group stages of the Lebanese Basketball League will kick off today, with 3 games. Riyadi vs Tadamon at 6 pm, followed by Mouttahed vs Champville at 8.30 pm, and finally Homenetmen vs Sagesse at 9.30 pm.
However, Fadi El Khatib, the Lebanese National Team’s Captain will miss tonight’s game due to a previous commitment.
The Tiger is undoubtedly the nightmare of every defender and the MVP of the regular season with 23 ppg, 5.8 rpg and 3.3 apg.
How will Coach Joe manage to fill Fadi’s absence, especially that he has done it perfectly in his last game against Hoops, and protect his winning record of 17 W and 1L only.
Best of luck to all the teams in the group stages

28 Mar. 2017- The Lebanese football national team started the 2019 AFC Cup Qualifiers journey with a big win over Hong Kong. It was clear that Radulovic was looking for an early lead by playing a pure offensive game.
The first minutes of the game were going in favor of the national team. The pressure, possession and dangerous chances finally resulted in a goal on the 26th minute through Mohamad Ghaddar.
Despite grabbing the lead, our players found their way to the goal once again and this time through Hassan Maatouk on the 32nd minute of the first half.
The start of the second half was great for the Cedars. We kept the possession by playing at a slow tempo and keeping our opponents out of the danger zone to successfully control the game and keep the 2-0 lead.
A great start for Lebanon in the 2019 AFC Cup Qualifiers. Let’s hope we can keep it up and book a spot in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
