03 Mar. 2016 – The International Muai Thai event, “Beirut Fight Night”, was a very succefull one! In an exiting atmosphere that groups fighters from Asian, Europe and the Arab countries, Ahmad ONDASH, our Lebanese fighter defeated the Thai fighter Silathong NUMPOTHEP, to become the World Champion!
The event featured 11 showdowns and was organized by the Shogun Club and the Lebanese Muai Thai Federation supervised by the International Association of the sport. It took place in Coral Beach Hotel and was supported by the Minister of Sports General Abdelmoutalleb HANNAOUI.
Ahmad ONDASH was the man of the night! He competed in the 63kg category and won the World’s title in his homeland and in front of a very supportive crowd! He recieved the Golden Belt of the championship and a prize money for his legendary achievement.

- Diana Hamada (Lebanon) won over Hara Dimitrola (Greece)
- Kassem Al Khatib (Lebanon) won over Hussein Mohanad (Jordan)
- Mohamad Hussein (Iraq) won over Ahmad Saleh (Lebanon)
- Mohamad Salame (Jordan) won over Wassim Al Mahmoud (Lebanon)
- Iyalbida Nasiopolo (Greece) won over Mia Hadraj (Lebanon)
- Akram Al Mounahi (Iraq) won over Fady Bou Abboud (Lebanon) – Asian Championship Title
Additionally to the contest, a show was held between the two retired athletes Hani CHAHADE and Bassam NASSAR and between the world champion from the Netherlands Vindel RUSH and the champion Walid MOSRA.
