02 Jun. 2016 – Mariana SAHAKYAN is off to one of the strongest Table Tennis countries in the world: China, for a 15 days training camp in preparation for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games that will be held in August.
The Lebanese and and West Asian champion who is born in Armenia, will be training under the supervision of the best coaches in the world.
The Lebanese Table Tennis Federation and the Lebanese Olympic Committee set a training program for our champion as well as for other Lebanese athletes who are representing Lebanon at the Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro.
We should note that Mariana SAHAKYAN is the third Lebanese ever to represent Lebanon at the Olympic Games in Table Tennis after Larissa CHEIB who was in Atlanta in 1996 and Tvine MOMJOGOLIAN in London 2012.
