17 Jul. 2016 – The second game of Al Mayadeen at the 2016 AFC Futsal Clubs Championship ended in a 2-6 loss against Tasisat Daryaei from Iran, which means our Lebanese team is out of the competition!
After trailing at halftime, Mayadeen conceded 2 goals at the beginning of the 2nd half before scoring 2 in the minutes 24 and 25 through Mohamad Kobaissy and Dragan Tomic to reduce the score to 2-3. Nevertheless, it was not enough as the Iranian team scored 3 more goals to end the game in their favor.
Moreover, Tasisat had previously defeated Almalyk FC 3-4, which means Mayadeen is out of the competition as they only have 1 point!
