22 Aug. 2016 – The line-up for the football games against Jordan and Afghanistan was decided. The first game against Jordan will take place on the 31st of August at the Camille Chamoun Sports Stadium while the second one against Afghanistan will occur on the 5th of September at the Rashid Karami Stadium, Tripoli. These two friendly games come as a preparation for the next round of the “2019 AFC Asian Cup” qualifications.
The 23 players chosen by Montenegrin coach Miodrag Radulovic are: Mahdi Khalil, Ahmad Al Taktouk, Ali Halal, Walid Ismail, Mahmoud Kajak, Ali Hammam, Mohammad Zein Tahan, Mu’tazz Al Jounaidy, Nour Mansour, Joan Oumari, Maher Sabra, Hasan Omari, Adnan Haidar, Haitham Faour, Ahmad Jalloul, Rabih Ataya, Hasan Maatouk, Omar El-Kerdi, Hasan Chaito, Ghazi Hanini, Mohammad Haidar, Hasan Saad, and Hilal Al Halawi. The players playing abroad will join the team starting next Saturday and the team will take part in a training camp that begins on Monday.
