24 Aug. 2016 – The Lebanese futsal referee Khalil Balhawan underwent a training camp in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), for a duration of 5 days.
This camp, in which only 6 Asian referees were present out of 29 nominated, has allowed Khalil to enter the Elite group that contains only 5 referees from Asia.
During the camp, participants had different sessions that included video learning, rules learning… and Balhawan got a very good grade.
With that being said, Khalil is the third Lebanese referee to join that list, after Mohamad & Rim Chami.
