25 Aug. 2016 – With the supervision of the Lebanese athletics federation represented by its general secretary, Nehmetallah Bejjani, Jamhour organized their 5th athletics meet especially for the athletes who have the chance to break records while the majority of the athletes has already started their off season.
The young athlete Mayssa Mouawad showed incredible talent setting 3 new records in 2 different categories. The first one was in 120m where she clocked 15.63 seconds in the bantam category, and the second one in the 150m with 19.70 seconds that was a record for both the bantam as well as the midget category.
With this final meet, and with the end of the Olympic Games, the competitive season in athletics just ended. The athletes will now have a break before starting preparing for the upcoming season!
