03 Sep. 2016 – The Lebanese Athletics Federation is organizing the last championship of the season, the Half Marathon. The 21.1km race is scheduled on the 18th of September.
Like every year, the start will be in Fouad Chehab Stadium in Jounieh. The runners will pass through Maamelten and get back to Dbayeh, on the sea road, and then get back to Jounieh to finish in the same stadium where the start will be held.
We should note that this is the last championship organized by this federation knowing that every four years, once the Olympic Games are done, a new federation will be elected. They were doing a good job in the past four years, hoping that the new federation will continue to improve the Lebanese Athletics.
