03 Sep. 2016 – The legendary Lebanese rally driver Roger Feghali suffered from a mechanical problem today at the 39th Rally of Lebanon, which made him retire from Saturday’s remaining stages.
Feghali was running second overall behind his brother Abdo and ahead of Qatar’s Nasser Attiyah so the accident could not have come at a worst moment. But, Roger may return tomorrow under rally 2 rules, although competing for a podium place is almost out of the picture now.
The battle now for 1st place overall will be between Abdo and Nasser, with the Lebanese driver increasing his lead to more than 1 minute now.
