24 Sep. 2016 – The Lebanese U21 Rugby League National Team finished its first game in a two-match series against Serbia with a draw. Indeed, the game ended 18-all and was a great test for both teams.
First, Lebanon managed to take the lead twice early on, through tries from Ziad Agha and Ray Sebat, before the Serbs answered back and took a 10-8 lead.
Right after the second half start, Serbia scored again and it was thought that they would now control the game. Nevertheless, the Lebanese players mustered a response and were able to take back the lead 18-14, but Serbia managed to equalize the score before the end.
The second match of this series will be tomorrow, September 25th.
