27 Sep. 2016 – In the next Lebanese basketball season, Byblos will have two elite point guards playing together! Indeed, after signing Ali Mahmoud, Byblos also agreed to a deal with Rodrigue Akl, with the player set to sign as soon as he lands back in Lebanon.
Akl was also in negotiations with Champville but the club was late in giving any response which paved the way for Byblos to snatch the former Sagesse guard.
It will be interesting to see how Mahmoud & Akl will fit in together next year.
