28 Sep. 2016- The Lebanese Beach Volleyball Team has qualified to the next round in the 5th Asian Beach Games. After a tough loss against Indonesia (0-2), our Lebanese players John Abi Chedid and Joe Azzi bounced back to grab two decisive wins against Maldives 2-0 (21-9 and 21-16) and against Mongolia 2-0 (21-15 and 21-16). They have qualified to the round of 24 and defeated Bangladesh 2-0 (21-12) and (21-18) to finally secure their place in the round of 16.
Our players will face Thailand tomorrow to book a spot in the quarterfinals. All the best to our Lebanese athletes and hopefully they can make it to the next round
