Sportscode Athlete Ray Bassil on the Verge of Making History

12 Oct. 2016 – She is the first shooter in history to compete in three consecutive ISSF World Cup finals in Shotgun in a two months period. She is two times Olympian: London 2012 and Rio 2016. She was ranked number one in the world in 2016. You might have guessed it: we are talking about Ray Bassil, a top class Lebanese athlete driven by passion and the will to become a Legend.

Ray Bassil is officially a Sportscode athlete. The athlete marketing company has the pleasure to announce that it will be managing the champion in order to help her push herself beyond limits  and achieve her ultimate goal of winning an Olympic Gold Medal.

Ray is determined to go to Tokyo 2020 and win the first Gold medal in history for Lebanon. Rio 2016 is now in her past and our champion is looking ahead to preparing for another four years of determination, commitment and perseverance.

Bassil is representing Lebanon at the Rome ISSF World Cup in Shotgun, her fourth ISSF World Cup in 2016! She will be lined up with the best shooters in the world; Satu Makela-Nummela the 2008 Olympic Champion from Finland, Catherine Skinner the 2016 Olympic Champion from Australia, and the Bronze medalist in Rio 2016, as well as a number of World Cup winners!

The line up is very tough. As a matter of fact, it is one of the best start lists in a World Cup! It is time for Ray to get her revenge and make it to the final in this tough competition to end her season with a great achievement.

She will be competing in the Women’s Trap on the 14th of October 2016. Stay tuned!
