13 Oct. 2016 – The Lebanese Shooting Federation organized the 5th round of the Lebanese Shooting Championship in Trap A. The event was held in Chtoura with the participation of 22 shooters.
Six shooters were able to qualify for the quarter final: Wadih Sayegh with 116/125 clay pigeons, Akram Hamada 114/125, Adel Younes 112/125, Marc Breidi 111/125, Hicham Chahine 107/125 and finally Richard Khoury with 107/125.
In the next round, the first and second play the final duel and the third and fourth play the bronze medal match after hitting 15 clays pigeons. Adel Bou Younes and Hicham Chahine both scored 13/15 and qualified for the gold medal match. Marc Breidi directly qualified for the bronze medal match with 11/15, while Akram Hamada and Richard Khoury both hit 10 clays and had to be separated in an addition hit which was in favor of Akram who had to challenge Marc in the bronze medal match.
The finals were very close between the shooters, both Adel and Hicham hit 12/15 clays and were later separated by additional hits. Adel Bou Younes grabbed the gold medal after hitting 10/10 and Hicham Chain took silver after missing one shot.
In the Bronze medal match, Marc Breidi was able to win the duel with 11/15 hits leaving Akram Hamada in fourth with 6/15 hits.
