05 Nov. 2016- In the first day of Henry Chalhoub Basketball Tournament, all the 8 teams have played. Champville Defeated Byblos (74-70), Tadamon defeated Mouttahed (78-64), and Homentmen defeated Mayrouba (94-67). But the fourth game between Hoops and Louaize was definitely the most unpredictable one.
In fact, the game was close from the beginning till the very last second of it. But Hoops managed to grab the win in the end (83-82).
Hoops were leading almost all the Quarters (21-18), (49-37), (60-60), (83-82).
Moreover, Louaize’s top scorers were Lewis with 23points, Johson with 28 points as for Jimmy Salem and Mackie, each has scored 10 points.
It is worth mentioning that Hoops’s top scorers were 3 Lebanese players. Izzat Kaissi had an incredible performance and scored 24 points, as for Ali Mezher and Khalil Aoun, each has scored 17 points and 16 points respectively.
Two games will take place today. The first one is between Homentmen & Tadamon at 4 PM, and the second one is between Mouttahed & Mayrouba at 6:30 PM.
