As usual in this division, all eyes were on Andrea Abboud. The expectations were high and so were her rewards. She of course did not disappoint. She took everyone’s breath away with a flawless floor routine. She performed on Queen’s song “The Show Must Go On” and boy does this girl know how to put up a show. With such a routine, she went down in the history books scoring a 13 on floor with only 1.1 points deducted. Her performance brought both her mom and coach to tears. She was also the only one to attempt a Tsukahara vault and she of course stuck the landing. On beam, she was also the only gymnast to do a back handspring and land it. She was mere perfection on bars leaving everyone at the arena speechless. Her performances awarded her 5 gold medals out of 5 and a score breaking the 47 points mark. (47.577) She set the bar way too high for anyone to even come close to her. Her closest opponent was more than 5 points behind her with a 42.237.
